I’m the founder of The Happy Nutrition Co. and a fully qualified, registered Nutritional Therapy Practitioner. My journey in nutrition began in 2005 when I launched my first business selling health juices, smoothies, soups, energy bars, and functional superfoods. After selling that business in 2013, I pursued a passion for Naturopathic Nutritional Therapy, graduating from the College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM) in 2016.
Following my qualification, I began working as a gut-health expert for the UK’s leading probiotic manufacturer. To further expand my expertise, I completed an additional year of study in Sports Nutrition with The Centre for Integrative Sports Nutrition (CISN) and recently earned a CACHE Level 3 qualification in Understanding Mental Health.
I am passionate about helping others improve their gut health, and I firmly believe—supported by scientific evidence—that building a strong, healthy gut can significantly impact our mood and provide long-term benefits for overall health and happiness.
While I can't promise a quick fix, I can help you make meaningful, lasting changes to your diet and lifestyle to restore your energy, health, and happiness by focusing on strengthening your gut-mind connection.
Why I started The Happy Nutrition Co.
Trying to keep up with the demands of everyday life—like managing high work stress, juggling family responsibilities, and eating ultra-processed foods—can seriously affect gut health, mood, and overall well-being.
As a mum of four, I understand how overwhelming it can be to balance work while raising a happy, healthy family. It’s easy to neglect your own health needs, often "putting up" with issues like bloating, skin conditions, low mood, or constant fatigue. These were my daily struggles before I became a Nutritional Therapist.

My Qualifications & Experience
Since qualifying as a Nutritional Therapist in 2016, I have pursued continuous professional development, earning a distinction in Sports Nutrition from the Centre for Integrative Sports Nutrition (CISN) and obtaining a CACHE Level 3 certificate in Understanding Mental Health.
I have contributed articles on the benefits of gut health to numerous media outlets, including Cosmopolitan, Harper's Bazaar, Women's Running, The Express, Sheerluxe, The Mirror, and The Sun. I've also presented webinars, podcasts, and in-person sessions for other Nutritional Therapists and Dietitians within the NHS.
I am a registered Nutritional Therapy Practitioner with the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT) and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), the UK's independent regulator for complementary healthcare practitioners.
